Volunteer: Weekly Shopping Support for the Commons and FountainsThe Weekly Shopping Support Volunteer plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents of The Commons or Fountains of Hilltop by assisting with a weekly outing to a local grocery store. This weekly outing to either Wal-Mart or City Market takes place on Friday's at 1:30pm. Volunteers in this role would accompany residents and staff to the grocery store that is scheduled for the week, assist residents with navigating the grocery store, obtaining their items and checking out. This role helps to promote the safety and provides supportive assistance to the residents in these settings. Basic Requirements: Completion of volunteer application and interview. Successful completion of appropriate screenings including Hilltop Residential criminal background check without CAPS or MVR, TB test, and annual flu shot.
