December Perks with Purpose

With the New Year comes new ways to grow and connect. Starting in January, Volunteer Services will be hosting a monthly get together for volunteers. We are excited to gather alongside you, share a breakfast snack, and learn something new together. With these ends in mind, we are launching Perks with Purpose.

• What: The agenda will go as follows
  

• 9am-9:15am - Volunteer Business
  

• 9:15 am - 10:00 am - 

  • Holiday Sock Exchange - No speaker this month, just a whole lot of fun! Join us for our Holiday Sock Exchange. 

    • Instructions:

      • Purchase a new pair of socks

      • Stuff the socks with some of your favorite things! (Candy, chocolate, lip balm, trinkets, office supplies. You could even include another pair of socks!) Please spend no more than $20.

      • Tie the socks together with some string (see examples below)

      • Bring your socks to exchange with other attendees

      • Please note - we want everyone to be able to participate, so volunteer services will plan to have some extras ready for those who are not able to prepare for this activity in advance. Let us know if this would benefit you!

  10:00 - 10:30 - Socialize with other volunteers, grab another snack, ask questions of our speaker, help us build our volunteer community!
