Hilltop Community Resources Volunteer Services is proud to announce the forming of our 13 - member Volunteer Services Advisory Council. We invite you to join us for an information session to learn more and consider becoming a member. This council will consist of Hilltop volunteers, employees and community partners who will meet four times per year for 90 minutes to discuss specific topics related to the needs, impact, value and practices of volunteerism.
The responsibilities of Advisory Council members are to:
· Attend four meetings per year in March, June, September and December at 1331 Hermosa Ave, Grand Junction, CO. While we prefer in-person attendance, we are exploring a virtual option using TEAMS.
· Share meaningful suggestions on ways to enhance recruitment, retention, recognition, communication, connection and engagement of Hilltop volunteers.
· Contribute your expertise, suggestions and feedback regarding current and future work of the Volunteer Services Advisory Council.
· Participate for a term of one year. Advisory Council Membership may be transferable with approval from the majority of advisory council members.
In return, Hilltop provides you:
· A light meal or snack at the meetings.
· Appreciation of your time, a commitment to hear your voice and suggestions, and an opportunity to create connections.
· Reports and updates on goals, objectives, outcomes and outputs.
· Meetings that start and end on time and follow an agenda.
