This volunteer will write birthday cards in the comfort and convenience of home. Birthday Cards will be shared with Life Enrichment Coordinators at Hilltop Senior Living Communities for distribution to residents.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Completion of Hilltop Residential Criminal Background Check without CAPS or MVR
- Minimum age requirement of 16
- Ability to lift, push or pull 10 pounds.
- Creative.
- Exceptional and legible penmanship.
- Positive attitude.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Maintain resident and family confidentiality.
- Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours monthly.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Performance Responsibility:
- Addresses birthday cards with brief, pleasant notes and birthday wishes. This volunteer activity is done in the comfort and convenience of home. Completed cards are sent to Volunteer Services for distribution to residents.
- Dress code: casual.
- Maintains open communication with other team members, reporting all concerns to supervisor.
- Notifies supervisor if not able to complete cards.
