Description

Do you enjoy sorting, organizing and digitizing files? Are you an excellent listener and great communicator with attention to detail?  if so, this is an excellent volunteer opportunity for you.  This position is a member of the Hilltop Volunteer Program and supports various community programs.  Hours are typically Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm, with flexibility for shift length.

Basic Requirements:

  • Completion of volunteer application and interview.
  • Successful completion of appropriate screenings including: Non-Residential Criminal Background Check without CAPS or MVR, TRAILS (Colorado Child Abuse Registry Screening), and Fingerprinting.
  • Minimum Age Requirement 21 years of age.
  • 1 hour program orientation and volunteer position specific training.
  • Strong computer data entry and organizational skills, customer service and clerical skills.
  • Dependable and responsible.
  • Ability to bend, lift, push or pull 20lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain client, family and employee confidentiality.
  • Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Submits volunteer hours to position supervisor monthly and logs hours in Get Connected.
  • Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.

  • Primary and typical duties of position
  • Clerical - reviewing and organizing files
  • Data entry, scanning and digitizing files
  • Special Projects
  • Monday – Friday, between 8am and 5pm.  Length of shift is flexible.
  • Dress code-casual and comfortable.
  • Maintains open communication with other team members, reporting all concerns to supervisor.
  • Notifies Kathy Buxton, Family Development Manager 970-234-3394, if unable to make shift.
