Are you a highly spirited, fun, team player with an eye for detail and interest in supporting Hilltop's annual Bash? If so, consider volunteering with our Special Events Crew on Saturday September 6, 2025. Special Events Crew volunteers play an important role in the success of this event by assisting Hilltop staff with event set up, decorating, placement of signs, yard games management, parking attendants and flaggers, service staff (bussers, cookie attendants, etc), clean-up and more.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Successful completion of Criminal Background Check and appropriate screenings for position.
- Completes program orientation and position specific training.
- Ability to function as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 lbs.
- Dependable and responsible with good organizational and communication skills.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
- Must be at least 12 years of age with parent or age 16 to volunteer independently.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours after each shift.
Performance Responsibility:
- Assist with activities before, during and/or after the event. These activities include but are not limited to event set up, decorating, placement of signs, yard games management, parking attendants and flaggers, service staff (bussers, cookie attendants, etc) and clean-up.
- Dress Code: Comfortable clothes and shoes appropriate for event type. Western Boho for those working during the Bash.
- Hilltop volunteer nametag.
- Maintains open communication with other team members, reports all concerns to supervisor.
- Shifts vary depending on the event schedule.
- Notifies supervisor if not able to make scheduled event shift.
