Join the LAP team with Halloween Festivities on October 31, 2025.
Volunteers would assist based on the following schedule:
9am-11am Costume Support:
*1-2 volunteers to support residents with hair/makeup for their costume
2pm: Trick or Treat street
*1-2 volunteers to support residents navigate their wheel chair down the side walk down to the Fitness Center
This leads right into the party which will go on until 4pm
- Snack station:
Popcorn-popping fresh popcorn and putting them into bags for residents
Cotton candy-standing and making (very hands on)
Mocktails-serving station (staff would prepare beverage)
*1-3 volunteers could support with any of these, serving them on a table for residents
- Sensory Room:
Brainstorming for this is still underway. Ideally, we would like 1-2 volunteers to support residents in the room and support with any hand washing that would be needed.
- Zombie Hunting:
*3 volunteers to be zombies, they would move around faux trees we would have set up and residents would shoot nerf gun bullets at them. They would be a set distance away for everyone to be safe.
Before (Set-up) and After (Clean-up) needs
There would also be an opportunity for volunteers to support with set up/clean up if interested.
Set up would take place the day before.
Clean up would take place after the party, roughly for an hour.
