Purpose of Position: If you enjoy organization, details, and knowing your behind-the-scenes work truly matters, this role is a great fit. As a Development Administrative Volunteer, you’ll help keep Hilltop’s fundraising and outreach efforts running smoothly by preparing donor materials, organizing supplies, assisting with mailings, and supporting gratitude and record-keeping tasks. From assembling packets and scanning archives to helping prepare thank-you letters and sponsorship acknowledgements, your careful work ensures supporters feel valued and the Development team stays on track. This is a steady, purposeful opportunity ideal for someone who takes pride in organization and wants to make a meaningful impact in a calm, supportive environment.
Basic Requirements • Completion of volunteer application and interview.
• Successful completion of appropriate screenings Hilltop Non-Residential criminal background check without CAPS or MVR, Trails Child Abuse Registry Screening, and Fingerprinting through Colorado Fingerprinting
• Completes program orientation and position specific training. (Approximately 2 hours)
• Must wear name badge
• Dependable and responsible.
• Maintain participant and donor confidentiality
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Completes and submits volunteer hours monthly.
• Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Performance Responsibility:
• Assemble packets, mailings, and donor materials
• Stuff envelopes, apply labels, and prepare bulk mail
• Print, copy, and prepare Development materials
• Organize supplies for outreach and events
• File paper records and maintain tidy donor and stewardship materials
• Assist with calendar planning and internal checklists as assigned
• Help prepare thank-you letters and sponsorship acknowledgements • Digitize Development archives (scanning, labeling, organizing, etc.)
