Join us in creating joyful and engaging experiences for residents of The Fountains of Hilltop, an assisted living community within Hilltop Community Resources. As a Special Events Assistant, you’ll help host our monthly special events, monthly gatherings designed to encourage community, conversation, and celebration.
Calendar of Events
June 10 - Wine and Cheese Meet and Greet - 3pm
June 18 - Donuts, Headlines and Coffee - 9:45am
June 25 - Cocktail Party - 2:30pm
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Successful completion of appropriate screenings including Hilltop Residential criminal background check without CAPS or MVR, TB test, and annual flu shot.
- Completes program orientation and position specific training. (Approximately two hours)
- Minimum age requirement of 21
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 lbs
- Must wear name badge Positive attitude.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Maintain resident and family confidentiality.
- Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours monthly.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in setting up the event area (tables, decorations, drink station)
- Greet and socialize with residents, helping them feel welcomed and included
- Help with food service
- Engage residents in conversation and encourage participation in activities or live entertainment
- Support clean-up efforts following the event
- Follow all safety and health protocols, including mobility assistance and allergy awareness
