The Annual LAP Car Show is a wonderful time to gather, enjoy beautiful automobiles and celebrate the great work being done at the Life Adjustment Program. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks to help make the car show happen.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Successful completion of appropriate screenings which include a Hilltop Residential Criminal Background Check without CAPS or MVR, TB test and flu shot.
- Successful completion of program orientation and position specific training totaling 4 hours.
- Volunteer should possess strong interpersonal skills and open mindedness
- Dependable and responsible.
- Maintain client and family confidentiality.
- Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours to position supervisor monthly.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities
Car Show - 1pm-4pm
Volunteer Opportunities are from 11:00am - 1:30pm and from 1:00pm - 4pm
- 7 Volunteers are needed to help with the following tasks:
- Parking
- Traffic control
- Food Service
- Drink Service
