On May 10, 2026, the Commons will be celebrating Mother's Day with a special painting session this Sunday morning. We will be creating a Mother's Day inspired piece of art to share with loved ones, or to display at home. We will also be providing breakfast pastries to share, come celebrate motherhood with us!
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Successful completion of appropriate screenings including Hilltop Residential criminal background check without CAPS or MVR, TB test, and annual flu shot.
- Completes program orientation and position specific training. (Approximately two hours)
- Minimum age requirement of 16
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 lbs
- Must wear name badge Positive attitude.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Maintain resident and family confidentiality.
- Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours monthly.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteers may be asked to help with any of the following:
- Set up or take down
- Decorating
- Possible hands-on support during painting
- Socializing
- Crafts or other similar activities
- Ushering
