Position Summary
Join the Life Adjustment Program for a unique art experience celebrating creativity, connection and self-expression. Resident artwork will be on display. Appetizers will be served. Volunteer will help create community, connection, and conversation by helping with a variety of tasks.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of volunteer application and interview.
- Successful completion of appropriate screenings including Hilltop Residential criminal background check without CAPS or MVR, TB test, and annual flu shot.
- Completes program orientation and position specific training. (Approximately two hours)
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 lbs
- Must wear name badge Positive attitude.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Maintain resident and family confidentiality.
- Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Completes and submits volunteer hours monthly.
- Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming residents and community members to the event
- Assisting residents in getting to and from the activity space
- Helping set up and serve food, drinks, or themed treats
- Engaging residents in conversation and encouraging participation
- Engaging residents to engage with attendees about the art on display
- Helping with wayfinding and information sharing to attendees
- Helping with light clean-up after the event
